    spacious rooms
    noise disturbances
    food inconsistency

Spacious rooms, Beautiful beer garden, Stunning wedding venue

Noise disturbances from events were quite disruptive at night!!! I also noticed inconsistency with food quality during peak times, which detracted from the overall dining experience.

Consider requesting additional tea bags upfront for your stay if you're a tea enthusiast. it's a small detail that can enhance your comfort.

    beautiful orangery
    poor sound insulation

The breakfast in the beautiful Orangery was a highlight.

The sound insulation between the rooms was poor, making nighttime disturbances noticeable.

    Charming Stay with Great Food

We enjoyed a delightful two-night stay in a spacious double room. The bed was enormous, making sleep a real treat. Dining was a highlight, with a delicious cheese board that I wish had a description. Don't forget to request it during your meal!

I enjoyed my stay at The Plough. The atmosphere pulsed with vibrancy, and the food blew me away with its quality. Only downside was some noise from events, but the overall creative vibe and unique decor left a lasting impression.

    spacious room
    comfy bed
    wedding noise

I stayed one night as a stopover on my way back to Scotland and really enjoyed the spacious room and comfy bed. I loved relaxing outside in the beer garden with some tasty food and soaking up the sun. The only downside was the noise from a wedding party that made it hard to get to sleep early, so maybe bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper! 😊

    would definitely return

The family room was spacious with a comfortable bed, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV. Loved having an electric kettle for tea. The bathroom had a nice shower and plenty of towels. The restaurant had superb food, and breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Easy parking right outside too.

    Nice
    6.0

Room 3 offers surprising spaciousness and an up-to-date feel, accommodating couples nicely. The bathroom impresses with its modern decor and recent fittings, making it a comfortable spot to freshen up.

The room's lighting lacks adequacy, making it feel somewhat dark, especially with the abundant foliage blocking the outside view. Storage space falls short with only three hangers provided, which is less than ideal for a couple on a two-night stay. The shower rail wobbles, leaving a bit of distrust when adjusting it. Breakfast misses the mark. a sparse vegetarian option and an early 9 AM cutoff feel limiting, especially after a long wedding night. While the venue serves as a wedding location, the noise from events can disrupt sleep, particularly on weeknights with celebrations going late.
